For a simple multipurpose carpet spotter, mix 1 part Hydrogen Peroxide with 5 parts water and put in a spray bottle. Test this spray on an inconspicuous area first to make sure it does not dye the carpet. (It may lighten some carpets.) Spray on carpet spots and stains. It works well on yellow dog or cat urine stains. It also can clean mold and mildew from carpet. It not only cleans and removes stains, but also serves as a disinfectant.
To boost your dishwashers cleaning ability, add 2 ounces Hydrogen Peroxide with your regular detergent to help sanitize your dishes.
Beef up your regular dish soap by adding roughly 2 ounces of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide to the bottle of dishwashing liquid.
